Responsibilities
- Client Advisory: Advise a diverse range of clients on data protection, regulatory compliance, and AML/CTF matters, ensuring their adherence to GDPR, MiCA, MiFID and other relevant regulations.
- Data Protection Management: Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures for clients, ensuring comprehensive compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure clients’ compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements across various jurisdictions, including EU, UK, Canada, UAE and other relevant markets.
- AML/CTF Policies: Develop, update, and implement AML/CTF policies and procedures for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits for clients to identify and mitigate potential compliance and AML/CTF risks.
- Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to client employees on data protection, regulatory compliance, and AML/CTF best practices.
- Incident Response: Manage and respond to data breaches and other compliance-related incidents for clients, including reporting to regulatory authorities when necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of compliance processes, policies, and procedures for each client.
- Liaison Role: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding data protection, compliance, and AML/CTF matters.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in data protection, regulatory compliance, and AML/CTF, continuously improving practices for clients.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in data protection, regulatory compliance, and AML/CTF, preferably advising clients within the IT, FinTech, iGaming, and eCommerce sectors.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GDPR, AML/CTF and other relevant regulations.
- Education: A university degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CAMS, or similar are preferred.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Assist with Banking: Open and maintain bank accounts, including completing forms, managing compliance communications, and processing requests swiftly.
- Correspondence: Communicate with partner law firms, business advisors, corporate secretaries, accountants, and auditors.
- Liaison Role: Act as the main contact point for managing information flow regarding corporate setups between our firm and clients.

- Build Sales KPIs: Collaborate with the founder to create clear sales KPIs and reverse-engineer a plan to achieve them.
